ANGUS
Bred for fertility, structure and performance since 1968
ANGUS HERDThe Cameron family runs a pure Angus herd of approximately 300 breeding females across their two properties, The Yanko at Jerilderie and Koorana at Euroa.
Steers are sold at around 12 months of age for finishing in feedlots, while replacement heifers are retained and joined to calve at two years of age.
The Angus herd was established in 1968 at Woodlea, Kyneton, by Hugh’s father, Ian Cameron Snr. Today, the herd continues to be developed with a strong focus on fertility, structural soundness, temperament, and performance.
Bulls are sourced from Merridale Angus.
